He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth C. Meiklejohn (Spooner); his parents, William Meiklejohn, Jr. and Martha G. Meiklejohn (Minard); his son David Meiklejohn; and his close friend Beatrice L. Riley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Fales (Gregory) of West Greenwich, Dorothy Springmann (Kurt) of Arlington, VA and Carrie Teixeira (Jeffrey) of Charlotte, N. C.; his grandchildren, Geoffrey Fales, Sarah Springmann and Rachel Springmann; and his son Derek Meiklejohn.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Almoner's Fund of the Scottish Rite, 2115 Broad Street, Cranston, RI 02905-3396 would be appreciated.
