With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene L. Castro of Lincoln, Rhode Island, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 7, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Virgilio Castro; her parents, Robert J. Tierney and Emma L. Tierney (Carlson); and her son Steven Castro. She is survived by: her son Philip Castro (Lucy) of Lincoln; and her sister Lois Bennett of Ohio. She is also survived by one grandson and two grand-daughters along with one great-grandson.
