He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn F. Shurtleff (Turgeon); his parents, Edwin and Blanche Shurtleff (Lessard); his child Leslie Gibbons; and his siblings, Donald and Ruth Shurtleff.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Proule of Lincoln, Joan Wolf of Barrington and Allison Shurtleff-Fraioli of Little Compton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to The Alzeheimer's Association would be appreciated.
