He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Barton and Emma Barton (Pray); his wife Alice Barton (Irving); and his son Douglas Barton of West Glocester, RI.. He is survived by: his siblings, Thelma (Ellsworth Cutler), David (Maryann Barton), Phyllis Barton (Robert) of Chepachet, RI and Mary Barton; and his children, Brenda Credit (Gary) of Ocala, FL, Kenneth E. Barton Jr. of North Grosvenordale, CT, Joyce Apley (Frederick) of West Glocester, RI, Diane Gaucher (Roland) of Putnam, CT and Joan Barton. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
