He is survived by: his wife Judith K. Bard; his children, Sarah E. Staley (Nathanael D. Staley) and Matthew D. Bard (Caitlin Bard); his grandchildren, Liam, Aidan and Rory; his sisters, Carol Bard and Lisa Bard; his nephew Bradford Battista; his son Michael R. Bard; and his brother Bradford Bard.
