He was predeceased by: his former wife Virginia A. Choiniere (Ahern); his parents, Albert J. Choiniere and Orilda B. Choiniere (Mayer); his grandson Lewis Watkins; and his siblings, Roland Choiniere, Anita Bouthillier, Beatrice Tetreault, Emile Choiniere, Aurora Bourassa, Ernest Choiniere, Raymond Choiniere, Norman Choiniere, Leo Choiniere, Cora Duquette, Adrien Choiniere and Dolores Dupuis.
He is survived by: his wife Rita D. Choiniere (Medeiros); his children, Elaine F. Watkins (Lewis) of Pawtucket and Kenneth W. Choiniere (Margaret) of Seekonk; his grandchildren, Timothy Watkins (Carolyn), Marsha McKinley (Andrew) and Katelyn Salum (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Abigail Watkins, Emily Watkins, Natalie Watkins, Mia McKinley and Landon Salum. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
