She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Manuel and Rosa (Texeira) of Jesus; her sons, Carlos Amaral (Tracy) of North Providence, Joe Amaral of Eustis, FL and Brian Amaral of Denmark; and her siblings, Manuel H. Furtado of Terceira, João Furtado of São Miguel, José F. Furtado of East Providence, Mario Furtado of Ontario, Ines Figueredo of São Miguel, Cidalia Santos of Ontario, Rosa Correia, Ana Maria Furtado, Ana Isabella Furtado and Conceição Correia. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
