He was predeceased by: his father Bradley McDermott; his stepfather Harry E. Bay; his brother-in-law Mark Higgins; and his friend Charles Pagliuca. He is survived by: his mother Helen McDermott Bay (Fay); his sisters, Donna Higgins, Janice Oberg and Gail McDermott; his caregivers, Carla and Carlos DaSilva; and his friend Fernando Lopez. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
