He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Whitney. He is survived by: his mother Jane Whitney of Upton, MA; his close friend Sandra Mello of Cumberland; his sons, Eric Whitney (Jessica) of Blackstone, MA and Nick Whitney (Caitlin) of Fitchburg, MA; his stepchildren, Priscilla Mello (Jorge) of Pawtucket, Alexis Mello of Cumberland and Matthew Mello of Cumberland; his grandsons, James, Tyler, Mason, Easton, Jorge, Teixeira and Adrian; and his siblings, Heidi Dion, Beth Mattson, Andy Whitney and Matt Whitney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.
