He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Amy H. Gibbons (Chapman); his parents, John V. Gibbons Sr. and Helene B. Gibbons (Perron); his children, Erin M. Wood (Austen) of West Hartford, CT, Chelsea L. Gibbons of Lincoln and Sean K. Gibbons (Spencer) of Champagne, IL; his sister Maureen J. McCabe (Eugene) of Middletown; and his grandchildren, Cole, Logan, Lucas, Sydney, Eloise, Simon and Howard. He was also cherished by five nieces and nephews, many close relatives, and loving friends.
