He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao Lopes and Natividade Lopes (Rebelo); and his sister Maria C. Gouveia. He is survived by: his wife Leonor Lopes (Martins); his daughters, Karen and Gina; his son-in-law Bruce; and his grandchildren, Leah, Abigail and Maxwell. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
