With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald T. Mooney of Cumberland, Rhode Island, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 17, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Mooney (Tanner); his parents, John Mooney and Lillian Mooney (Thielig); his daughter Susan Mooney; and his siblings, Anthony Mooney, Raymond Mooney, Leo Mooney, Joseph Mooney, Lawrence Mooney, David Mooney, Ed Mooney, Sr., Rita Happenny and Margaret Sidla.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Mooney (Joyce), Karen Nield (Joseph), Linda Malloy (Dennis) of Cumberland and David Mooney (Jana) of Foster; his grandchildren, Steven Mooney, Joey Nield, Mackenzie Malloy, Mary Malloy, Dennis Malloy, Mason Mooney and Taylor Mooney; his brothers, John Mooney (Jack) and Paul Mooney; and his close friend Sally DaCosta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
