He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Fernandes and Maria Fernandes (Casanova); and his siblings, Jose and Dorinda Casanova. He is survived by: his wife Maria L. Fernandes (Martins); his children, Dori C. Silva (Philip Silva) of Cumberland and Luis M. Fernandes (Anna Maneca Fernandes) of Cumberland; his grandchildren, Adam, Alyssa Silva, Cameron and Kyle Fernandes; and his great grandchildren, Rita, Desmond, Lincoln, Declan, Charlotte, Callum and Logan.
