With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera DiMeglio Stabile DiPippo Punke (Cranston, Rhode Island), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 108. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amedeo Motta and Rosina Lancellotti Motta; her siblings, Amedeo Motta, Ida Motta of Cranston, RI and Rose Caione of Tamarac; her former husband Aldo DiMeglio; her son Richard DiMeglio; and her daughter-in-law Jerra DiMeglio (Richard).
She is survived by: her daughter Ellie; her grandsons, Steven (Kristen) and Robert (Gia); and her great grandchildren, Evan Hagan III, Owen Daniel, Eli Jesse and Joseph Booker.
Coming as it did during the Covid-19 restrictions, the parade was a breath air for Vera and all of the residents of The Jefferson.
