It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vencina Parenteau of Cranston, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rossi and Mary Rossi (Lamantia); and her sisters, Rachel Calcagni, Anna Iacono and Frances Grasso.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Tondreau (Parenteau) of Lincoln, Ann Trouve (Parenteau) of Cranston and John Parenteau of Essex Junction, Vermont.; her grandchildren, Jarred, Ryan, Patrick Trouve, Kelsey and Jordan Parenteau; her great grandchildren, Isabelle, Samuel and Adrian; and her sister Nina Pagano.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to the Cranston Senior Center.
