He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis, Sr. Gomes and Anna Gomes (Silva); and his sibling Francis. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Gomes (Carrier); his children, Jamal M. Gomes (Tara) and Thiago J. Gomes (Carol); his grandchildren, Madison, Avery, Shayne, Maxwell Gomes and Morgan Viccione; and his siblings, Eugene Gomes, Deborah Handy, Elizabeth Smith, Gus Gomes, Thiago Gomes and Joseph Gomes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
