With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine B. Alix of Cranston, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 2, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas O'Brien and Bernadette Giviens (Burrows); and her close friend Terrence Vallely. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Alix (Rowena) and Dawn Depot; her siblings, Elizabeth O'Brien of California, Thomas O'Brien of Florida, Carleen Marques of Coventry, Margaret Genereaux (Ronald) of Smithfield, James Riley (Michelle) of New Jersey and Kevin Riley (Lisa) of Seekonk, MA; and her pet Terry. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
