With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julie Karahalios of Cranston, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 15, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Karahalios; her parents, John and Dora; and her siblings, Despina Bravakis, George, Nick and Paul Stappas.

She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Richard (Steven) of Cranston and Georgia Parenteau of North Kingstown; her grandchildren, Alex and Kristen; and her brother James Stappas (Anna) of Canada.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Parish of Greater Providence, 175 Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.
