He was predeceased by: his wife Joan M. Sepe (Lisi); his parents, Pasquale "Paul" Sepe and Pauline Sepe (Archambault); and his brother John P. Sepe. He is survived by: his children, Karen E. Casey of Cranston, James J. Sepe, Jr. of Glendale, CA, Kim A. Sepe of Cumberland and Kerry A. Bozek of Cumberland; his grandchildren, Ryan Casey and Erika Bozek; his great grandchildren, Gigi and Mila Casey; and his brother William A. Sepe of Rockport, ME.
