He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene H. Collins (Pawlowski); and his parents, Gerard J. Collins and Margaret Collins (Greene). He is survived by: his children, Gerard J. Collins, Denise A. Lopardo (Kenneth) of Cranston and Michael A. Collins (Maria Fiorillo) of Warwick; his grandsons, Kenneth Lopardo, James Lopardo (Gina Iannucci), Nicholas Lopardo and Matthew Collins; his great grandchild James Nicholas Lopardo, Jr.; his siblings, Jean Rossi of Cranston, Patricia Collins of Cranston, Maureen Hann of Cranston and Rita D'Amato of Warwick; his nieces, Lisa Rossi and Gina Graziano; and his friends, Gregory Fleury and Roger Pennine.
