It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice M. Brophy of Chepachet, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 1, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Brophy; her parents, Arthur Geer and Rachael Geer; her son John Kevin Brophy; and her siblings, James Geer and Hattie Lewis (Geer).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Dubreuil of Preston and Colleen Brophy of Chepachet; her son-in-law James Dubreuil; her grandchildren, Chelsea Dubreuil, Caitlyn Dubreuil, Courtney Dubreuil, Christian Dubreuil and Gabriel Brophy-Curran; her pet Sebastian; and her siblings, George Geer of Oregon, Benjamin Geer of Pawcatuck, Mary Latta of Westerly and Gloria Atter of Westerly.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in her memory to Friends of Westerly Animal Shelter or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
