It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luz Alvarez (Central Falls, Rhode Island), who passed away on May 6, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rodolfo Alvarez; her parents, Jose Miguel Correa and Leonor Posada; her sons, Juan Pablo Alvarez (Lori Giese) of Miami, FL, Ivan Dario Alvarez, Sr (Trey Marie Alvarez) of Corpus Christi, TX and Rodolfo Alvarez Jr. of Washington; her siblings, Jesus Mario Correa Posada, Elvira Isabel Correa Posada, Juan Ricardo Correa Posada and Lucia Correa Posada; her grandchildren, Ivan Dario Alvarez Jr., Ivanna Marie Alvarez, Trey Lucia Alvarez and Michael Kenzo Alvarez; and her brother Ignacio Alberto Correa Posada. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
