It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Correia Silva of Bristol, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquim Silva and Maria Silva (Moitoso); and his siblings, Alvin Silva, Constantino and Manuel Silva.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Silva (Rapoza); his daughters, Teresa Gadouas (David) and Cheryl Whiteside (Jesse); his grandchildren, Jillian Whiteside, Tessa Whiteside, Ethan Gadouas, Tristan Whiteside and Marissa Gadouas; and his sisters, Antonette Goulart and Beatrice Costa. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name can be made to the United Brotherhood of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Trinity, St. Elizabeth's Church, Bristol, RI.
