She was predeceased by: her husband Evaristo Afonso; her parents, Manuel Pacheco and Maria Jose Pacheco (Pimentel); and her siblings, Elba Santos and Carlos Pacheco.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Afonso (Mary Lou) of Boston, MA and Maria Doherty of Bristol; her grandchildren, Ryan (Lauren), Shannen (Patrick), Morgan, Caroline and Bridgette; her great grandchildren, McKinley, Shaelyn and Delilah; her siblings, Antonio Pacheco (Maria), Eduarda Coroa (late David), Connie Pacheco (Bill), Manuel Pacheco (Diane), Mary Jo DeOliveira (Lee), Fatima Dias (Joe) and Luis Pacheco; and her siblings-in-law, Edmund Santos and Rosa Pacheco. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
