He was predeceased by: his wife Judy E. Howard (Crone); his parents, Curvin Howard and Irene Howard (Quickel); his son Ronald L. Howard, Jr.; his grandson Christopher Howard; his siblings, Spurgeon, James Howard and Lois Jacobs; and his stepbrother Jack Stambaugh.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Timothy Howard (Jennifer Howard), Samantha Pyne and Allison Howard; his great grandchildren, Ryker Howard, Liam Howard and Abigail Pyne; his daughter-in-law Anita Howard; and his siblings, Curvin Howard, Jr. (Pete), Joanne Wintermyer, Nancy Murphy, Judy Merkert and Karen Krout. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
