He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth M. Sowers (Heffner); his parents, Robert L. Sowers and Ella M. Sowers (Arnold); and his sister Pauline Kinsley. He is survived by: his children, Lee E. Sowers (Deborah) and Lark Ann Waltimyer (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Angela Arnold, Brent Sowers, Shanna Carter and Katelyn Waltimyer; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Cole Carter, Clayton Sowers and Leo Arnold.
