He was predeceased by: his mother Denise Dobbins. He is survived by: his father Roam Eugene Dobbins; his son Malik D. Dobbins; his wife Carolene "Cookie" Jacks (Cookie); his granddaughter Melody; his stepmother Michelle Dobbins; his mother-in-law Ella Lynn; his siblings, Keita, Michael and Kiayra Dobbins; and his aunts and uncles, Marsha (Aunt Fuzzy), Tyrone Scott, Marshall Leonard (Uncle Brother), Joyce Cofield, Brenda Smith, Paulette Blaylock, Maria McKinley, Francis Cottman, Earlene Cottman and Romaine Dobbins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and family, as well as friends.
