He was predeceased by: his father William McGinnis; his daughter Tracy Detterman; his son-in-law Kim Roland Johns; and his grandson Jacob Johns. He is survived by: his wife Carol McGinnis (Greene); his daughters, Beth Johns (Jim Barger) and Colleen Schaller (Brian); and his grandchildren, Rachel Shirley (Jared), Sarah Westlake, Zachary Johns (Taylor), Brock Schaller and Max Schaller. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
