He was predeceased by: his wife H. Bargerstock of Virginia; and his siblings, Robert Bargerstock and Carol Courson. He is survived by: his sons, Edward F. Bargerstock (Bari) of Worthington and John W. Bargerstock (Diane) of Worthington; and his grandchildren, Tyson J. Bargerstock, Kate M. Bertoncello (Adam), Samuel W. Bargerstock and Jacob S. Bargerstock.
