She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Hellam (Peat) and Floy Hellam; her husband Edward Shahaden of Niles; and her siblings, Ted, Bob, Larry Hellam and Lois Preston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maribeth Kay (Roger) of Girard and Lisa Williams (Bryan) of Niles; her grandchildren, Nate Kay (Jeni) of Reynoldsburg, Jessica Zavada (Mathew) of Tuxedo Park, NY, Sarah Catania (Jason) of Niles, Matthew Williams of Munroe Falls and Benjamin Williams of Warren; her great grandchildren, Ava, Sophia Catania and Ethan Kay; her sister Virginia Loveless (Robert) of Buhl, Idaho; and her sister-in-law Joan Hellam of McDonald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
