She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Peterman and Irene Peterman (Ogden); her husband William G. Sylvis; and her siblings, Roy, Bryan, Glenn Peterman and Janet Howe.
She is survived by: her stepson Gordon Sylvis of Jersey Shore; her grandchildren, Bruce Wehler (Donna), Pamela Steele, Debra Yaw (Chad) and Doug Sylvis (Denise); and her sister Linda Hastings.
