He is survived by: his parents, James Welch and Louella Anne Chapman Welch; his spouse Lorraine A. Dapp; and his children, Kay L. Schenck (Steve) of Burlington, WV, Cynthia Potter of Westfield, Franklin "Butch" Welch, Jr. (Joanne) of Cairnbrook, Pamela Welch (Shirley Bell) of Westfield and James Terry Welch (Angela) of Everett.
