She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hess and May Kelly Hess. She is survived by: her children, Wendell Porter Weeks, Sr. (Kim) of Corning and Cynthia Edge Seydel (Lee) of Solon, Iowa; her grandchildren, Olivia Weeks Dingus, Wendell Porter Weeks II, John David Edge and James Chatham Edge; and her siblings, Mary Beth Hepner of North Carolina, Diana Morgan of North Carolina and James Hess of Factoryville.
