She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Sobeck and Mary Szall Sobeck. She is survived by: her husband Ronald E. Poulson; her daughters, Laura Poulson McDonald (Steven) of Warren and Nancy Poulson Birt (Paul) of Scandia; her grandchildren, Sydney Fitch (Matt Snyder) of Buffalo, Lily Fitch (Colton Mulkins) of Mayville, Molly Birt Moore (Eric) of Scandia and Haylie Birt (Brendan Cole) of Buffalo; her great grandchild Hayden Moore; and her siblings, Tom Sobeck (Bonnie) of Erie, PA and Barb Shield (Bob) of Erie, PA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joanne's memory be made to Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave. Warren, PA.
