He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walter Lance and Anna Mae Lance (Delaney). He is survived by: his wife Mary Lance (Wills); his children, Walter Lance (Linda), Mary Smith (Bruce), Robert Lance, Joseph Lance (Jennifer), Thomas Lance (Irene) and Peter Lance; and his grandchildren, Veronica Lance, Cate Lance, Abby Lance, Tommy Smith, Marina Lance, Annemarie Smith, Robert Lance, Tommy Lance, Matt Smith, Michael Lance and Kevin Lance. He is also survived by many other close friends and relatives.
