He is survived by: his wife Sophie H. Gibson; his children, Matthew B. Gibson (Tiffany), Natalie, Connor and Katherine Gibson Wallace; his grandchildren, William, Sophie and Charles; his daughter Caroline Gibson Kincannon; his grandchildren, Liam and Crosby; and his siblings, Nancy Gibson Prowitt and James Gibson (Virginia).
