He was predeceased by: his parents, James J., Sr. and Regina (Brady); and his siblings, Regina Bradley, Laurence Pettit and Irene Pettit.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie Pettit (McLaughlin); his children, Joanne Robinson (Brian), Pops, James David (J. D.), Brady and Allison Robinson; his siblings, Dolores Graff, Dottie Rute, Stephen Pettit (Maria) and Joe Bradley; and his parents-in-law, Ed, Joanne Griffis, John McLaughlin, Theresa Pettit (Sweeney), Gary Rute and Frank Graff. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
