He was predeceased by: his parents, Wolodymyr Baran and Oksana Baran (Nakoneczna). He is survived by: his wife Nina Baran (Kardon); his children, Alexander V. Baran and Diana Kardon Baran; his brother Andrew Baran (Julia); his nephew Nicholas; his sister Bea Chuchra (Alex); and his nephew Daniel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in George's memory to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
