He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frew, Sr. and Helen Russel Frew Heintzleman; his wife Karen; and his brothers-in-law, Truman Swab Jr. and David Moyer Sr..
He is survived by: his sons, George R. Frew III and Mike Frew (Jennifer) of Frostproof, FL; his stepsons, Chris Kaster (Karla) and Daniel Sparks (Melissa) of Morganton, NC; and his sisters, Georgina Moyer, Helen Miller, Luana Butensky (Bob), JoLynne Fenstermacher and Donna Hubler (Chet). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
