He was predeceased by: his parents, Max H. Chilson and Daisy Stephenson Chilson; the mother of his children Bertina Chilson; his grandson Dustin Chilson; his great grandchildren, Isaac Mosier and Abagail Tinna; and his siblings, Susie Woodruff, Margaret Sick, Albert Chilson, Paul Chilson, Franklin Chilson and Clifford Chilson.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Mosier (Terry), Burton Chilson, Charles Chilson (Sandi), Brian Chilson, Ella Robinson, Duke Chilson (Amy) and Christine Brown; and his brothers, Wilmer Chilson and Thomas Chilson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
