She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford T. Shaffer and Iola Shaffer (Northrup) of Towanda; her husband Herbert G. Horton; her son Mark J. Horton; and her brothers, James "Shag" Shaffer, Paul Northrup and John Shaffer.
She is survived by: her son Matthew P. Horton; her pet Lola; and her sisters, Mary Ackley, Sally Vaughn and Mary Kay Kelly.
