He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Coveney Homan. He is survived by: his children, Gary Homan of Thornton and Karen Roudabush of Exton; and his son-in-law Brian Roudabush. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.
Homan's professional awards include the prestigious National Association of Country Agriculture Agents Distinguished Service Award, the National Dow Study Tour Award, and the National Ciba-Geigy award for outstanding contributions to agriculture.
