He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Snyder and Evelyn Snyder (Biehl); and his sister Elaine Thomas. He is survived by: his children, William Harry "Bill" Snyder (Kimberly Marie Snyder) of Brecknock Twp, Diane Evelyn Newcomb of Mohrsville and Donald Michael Snyder (Michele Sauppee-Snyder) of Laureldale; his grandchildren, Christopher Snyder (Ann), Rachel Snyder, Matthew Snyder (Jessica), Alexandra Snyder and Michael Snyder (Nikki); his stepgrandsons, Kyle and Ronnie Kale; and his great grandchildren, Maddy, Owen and Collin Snyder.
