It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Bastian of Sunbury, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Sr. Bastian and Myrtle V. Bastian (Flexer); his former wife Mary E. Hendershot; and his spouse Jean Pyers (Treas). He is survived by: his son Douglas; his daughter-in-law Catherine Bastian of Danville; his daughters, Elizabeth (William Chapin) and Nancy Bastian of Reading; his stepchildren, Jill Monaghan (Sean) and William Pyers (Barbara); his brother William; his sister-in-law Connie Bastian of Lewisburg; his grandchildren, Jennifer Natale (Jason), Nathaniel Bastian (Hyeyon), Brian Bastian (Lauren), Andrew and Benjamin Chapin; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Brooke, Regan, Bradyn, Chelsea, Calder and Leland.
