She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Proctor and Clara Hilliker Proctor Mitchell; her husband Eugene Elder; her siblings, Floyd Proctor, Audrey Hamilton, Carol Hallgren and Anna Hildum; her stepson Gerald Elder; her grandson Eric Sanders; her niece Becky Paloncy; and her nephew Craig Hildum.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Hays (Tim) of Gerry, NY, Bruce Elder (Lisa) of Sugar Grove and Jeffrey Nelson (Kathie Liffner); her brother Albert Proctor (Mary Jane) of Lakewood; her daughter-in-law Beth Barnes (Jim); her sister-in-law Sylvia Proctor; and her grandchildren, Brianna Meek (Guy), Garrett Nelson (Pamela Colon), Courtney Hays, Hobart Sanders (Katherine Little), Joshua Sanders (Shauna), Kyle "Sy" Sanders, Crystal Surdyk, Holly Snyder and Marcie Brown (Mike). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID, the family would like to receive relatives only one hour prior, from 2:00 p. m. to 3:00 p. m.
