She was predeceased by: her daughter Lynn Baker; and her parents, Robert C. Merritt and Marie Finister. She is survived by: her husband Donald H. Baker Sr.; and her children, Donald Baker Jr. (Joann), Laura VanOrd (Steven), Alison Erizer (Joshua), Mary Anderson (Thomas) and Keith Baker. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 years' worth of foster children.

Memorials may be donated to the American Cancer Society.
