She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon T. Hontz and Ruth E. Hontz (Boyd); and her brother Dr. Richard Hontz. She is survived by: her daughter Joanne Mikuchonis (George) of Stroudsburg; her grandsons, Adam Mikuchonis of Stroudsburg and Mitchell Mikuchonis of Stroudsburg; her great grandchildren, Avery and Tanner; and her nephews, David Hontz and Keith Hontz.
