He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred W Puff and Ella Puff (Lau); his wife Margaret 'Margie' Puff (Pratt); and his siblings, Freddie, Kate, Frank and Albert.

He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Payette (Ron) of Goshen, IN and Karen Rosenkrantz of Stevens, PA; his grandchildren, Allison Payette, Tammy Watson (Andrew), Dawn Rosenkrantz, Jacquyn Hoover (Michael) and Holly Leonardo; and his great grandchildren, Caroline, Gabrielle, Nathaniel, Hazel, Camille, Josephine and Nadia.
