Robert W.D. Markel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert W. D. Markel of Southampton, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 24, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis H. Markel and Katherine L. Markel (Monfalcone); his wife Anna E. Markel (Buller); and his brother Francis H. Markel II. He is survived by: his sister Marge Acheson of Clementon, NJ. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
