He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn B. Kimmel and William H. Thompson, Sr.; his brother Samuel Thompson; and his granddaughter Nina Hermes. He is survived by: his wife Marion B. Thompson; his children, Stephanie Thompson (Patrick Hermes), Stefan Thompson (Diane) and Samuel Thompson (Misty); his grandchildren, Michelle and Simon Hermes; his children, Liam, Lia Thompson and Ellyanna Thompson; and his sisters, Linda Schmuck and Kim Thompson (Keith Kern).
